Allow us to review the estimate to verify that the reconciliation is correct. Mistakes happen. We want you to receive the correct settlement in order to get the most reliable and sustainable roof replacement.

Schedule to complete the replacement within the time frame given to you by your insurance.

Step 7

Your roofer does the work for the total of the estimate.

Step 8

You receive the full depreciation amount. Your only out of pocket expense is your deductible.

Glossary

Common Insurance Terms

Deductible: a specified amount of money that you must pay before an insurance company will pay a claim. This is your ONLY out of pocket expense.
Depreciation: a reduction in the value of your roof with the passage of time. This can be recoverable and non-recoverable.
Recoverable: 98% of policies include recoverable depreciation, meaning the second check from your insurance company will be sent, and the amount is covered.
Non-recoverable: this is when a second check will NOT be sent. In this case, you are responsible for the deductible AND the depreciation amount.
ACV (Actual Cash Value): on your adjuster's report, this will be the amount that is non-recoverable.
RCV (Replacement Cost Value): this is the amount on your adjuster's report that IS recoverable.
